Public holiday calendar

The one thing a bare UTC converter can't tell you: whether the meeting time you just found is actually a working day where your counterpart lives. This calendar tracks upcoming public holidays for 70+ countries, pulled live from the same open holiday database used by payroll and HR systems — not typed in by hand and left to rot.

Why this matters for scheduling

A recurring standup that quietly lands on Golden Week in Japan, a bank holiday in the UK, or Independence Day in Ghana will look completely normal in a time-zone converter — the offset math is fine, the humans just aren't there. Cross-check any recurring meeting against this calendar for every country your team spans, not just the ones you remember.

Coverage: 70+ countries with an open public-holiday feed. Some countries in ZoneShift's city database (for example India, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan) aren't covered by the underlying open dataset yet and simply won't appear here — that's a data-availability gap, not a claim that those countries have no holidays.

Pair this with the meeting planner, which now flags a holiday inline for any selected city's country within the next 45 days.
